How was your week? Mine was weird. I did a lot, but felt like nothing got done. Have you ever had a week like that? Although, that was the most productive week for this blog, to date! Check out the posts and let me know what you think… after you check out these articles.
Why You Daughter Throws Like A Girl – Forbes, Bob Cook. Apparently, men and women are made differently (are you as shocked as I am?) and the way we turn out hips and shoulders has affects out sporting ability. Who knew?
Hamilton’s Best At Maclaren, Says His Boss – The Roar. I’m not a Lewis Hamilton fan. I much prefer Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso. But he is undeniably good and I do admire his competitive spirit. If there were any thoughts that he might leave Maclaren, I think we can put them to rest.
10 Biggest Game Changers In Australian Sports Business – Sports Business Insider, Eric Winton. The rest of the title says ‘…and Why Del Piero Is One Of Them.’ These are supposed to be the greatest things to happen to the Australian sport (or the worst, depending on how you look at it…). I’m not so sure Del Piero can be compared to the Melbourne Grand Prix and Sydney Olympics, but hey. You decide.
Cameron Voted AFLPA Best First Year Player – GWS. I don’t have to tell you how much I like Jeremy Cameron (if you want to know check out this post and this post, too) and I literally jumped up and down when I saw he was chosen. He’s so good. Good for you, Jeremy.
Stadiums vs Arenas, Large vs Mid-Size Markets: The NCAA’s Method to March Madness – Forbes, Patrick Rishe. I have always wondered why the Final Four never played somewhere like New York or Los Angeles. Apparently, they like the management, reception and coziness of mid-size markets (they didn’t say ‘cozy’ in the article, but I read between the lines).
What do you think of these stories? Was there anything that happened this week that you particularly liked?
Yesterday, I started a new chapter in my life. And this makes just makes me very happy and excited!:) Great list!
